El pasado viernes 17 de noviembre celebramos la entrega de nuestro 11º Patuco de Honor en el salón de Grados de la Facultad de Enfermería, Fisioterapia y Podología de la Universidad Complutense de Madrid y ¡con aforo completo!
En el acto estuvo presente nuestra presidenta, Concha Gómez y fue presidido por la Vicerrectora de Centros y Departamentos de la UCM, Carmen Nieto Zayas, junto a Carmen Martínez Rincón, Decana de la Facultad. Contamos además con la presencia del Viceconsejero de Sanidad de la Comunidad de Madrid, Juan José Fernández Ramos.
Este año, el Patuco le ha sido otorgado a la doctora Nathalie Charpak directora e investigadora principal de la “Fundación Canguro” y de otros tres centros de excelencia. La Dra Charpak es la figura de referencia a nivel mundial en el Método Madre Canguro y su labor has sido premiada por Salve the Children, el BIRD, la OMS, el PNUD de la ONU, etc.
Después, la Dra Charpak dio una conferencia en el Hospital Universitario La Paz titulada «Cuidado madre canguro y desarrollo cerebral» en un salón de actos abarrotado de profesionales interesados en sus propuestas.
